Performance/Quality Improvement

Keystone Method™
Phase 1
PeerPoint gains an in-depth understanding of clinical issues associated with the delivery of specific disease states and the clinical practice issues that should be addressed. Consultation with key constituents, including medical experts, outside organizations, and providers, occurs at this stage and throughout the program. PeerPoint has developed an in-depth assessment process to identify the specific deficiencies in healthcare delivery - the Keystone Variables™.

Phase 2
Phase 2 consists of the strategies and tactics developed to address deficiencies in the Keystone Variables™ with a provider audience. PeerPoint considers a broad array of options, including leading-edge digital media, as well as conventional formats to educate participants on the issues. The focus is on direct, clinically based and practical tactics with tools that address the Keystone Variables™.

Phase 3
Phase 3 is the "PI/QI Phase". Here large-scale implementation of tactical programs at the provider or patient level occurs. Tactics may include various forms of medical education, clinical tools, and social networking activities. To attain optimal improvement, all activities must be focused on correcting specific deficiencies at the point of care.

Phase 4
Phase 4 captures Keystone Outcomes™. It is critical that these initiatives are measurable and reportable on multiple levels. Quantitative and trending reports are generated on the national, regional, local, and individual provider level. Providers are shown hard data that their efforts are producing real results for their patients, therefore reinforcing their enthusiastic participation. PeerPoint captures qualitative data on patient and provider feedback, ensuring that we are meeting the needs of consumers, the medical community and PeerPoint's mission.
